Number one ranked player in women’s singles tennis!

Posted by

Serena Jameka Williams is the number one ranked player in women’s singles tennis. Beginning her profession career at the age of thirteen and winning more major titles in singles, doubles, mixed doubles than any other active player, male or female, she is the best in the game. It can be agreed upon that Serena’s track record gives her the freedom to dress, act, or think whatever makes her comfortable regardless of what people think she should be. Ms. Williams embraces her natural against the status quo of having perfectly arched eyebrows and the coke bottle shaped body. In her new video, “Rise Up” by Andra Day for Beats by Dre, Serena gives the world a peek into her persistence and commitment starting with her waking up at 5:45am for her morning run. Soon after she was ready to begin her day the media and naysaying began. “I am lucky that whatever fear I have inside me, my desire to win is always stronger.” Switching her gears, she continued to “Rise.” Remembering her trials and countless hours of training that led to victories along her run, she showed us to step back and realize that success comes after hard work. Serena is a fighter for her health, her family, against doubt, and against criticism. Serena is equivalents to the queen chess piece, she has the ability to move any number of unobstructed squares in any direction along a rank, file, or diagonal on which it stands. We must all note from Serena’s victories that on our road to success, we must be graciously powerful and unstoppable. The songs tells us perfectly, “…I’ll rise up, and I’ll do it a thousand times again!”
